Dr. Rajiv S. Dahiya is a Florida and Texas-based cancer specialist experienced in a broad range of procedures including CyberKnife and Gamma Knife Stereotactic Radiosurgery (SRS), Tomotherapy, prostate and gynecologic brachytherapy (both High Dose Rate HDR and Low Dose Rate LDR). He is an expert in using such technologies such as Intensity Modulated Radiotherapy (IMRT) and Image Guided Radiation Therapy (IGRT) to help better target and treat complex cancers. He sees many patients who have failed traditional therapies and are seeking hyper-specialized cancer treatment options.
Throughout his postgraduate and medical training, he coauthored a number of studies that were presented in national meetings for such organizations as the American Society for Therapeutic Radiation Oncology (ASTRO), the American Society of Clinical Oncology and the American Brachytherapy Society. Dr. Rajiv Dahiya earned his BA and MD from the 6-year combined program at the University of Missouri Kansas City School of Medicine where he received the Mid-America Heart Institute student research fellowship. For his professional performance, he has been recognized by his peers as a Super Doctor published in Texas Monthly every year since 2012. Dr. Dahiya is actively involved in helping to develop and advance genetic testing for cancer and non-cancer related conditions.
